What exactly does your business offer?

Mia Harden Creative is a brand and web design agency for entreprenuers and professionals. We are driven to assist with the development of branding, marketing, web design, and print collateral. Mia is also a Creative Educator, offering serivces like 1:1 and group courses to creative entrepreneurs.

How do you accept payments?

Currently, through Square.

What are the payment terms / payment plans?

• ON-BOARD: 50% due to secure slot. • START DATE: 25% due on your project start date. • OFF-BOARD: 25% due on your project completion date. If at any time, you decide to add any additional items, contact us and let us know.

What platform do you prefer?

Majority of our work is Wix based, however, we design on different platforms periodically. If you have a different request, contact us and let us know.

Will I need to provide you with my social media links and passwords?

Absolutely! This is needed to intergrate all of your social media links to your website. Before the commencement of your website, you will gather all of the information we will need from you – your brands content, images, passwords, etc. If you have not already connected your hosting to your domain, we ask that you provide us with those passwords as well.

Do I need professional photography?

Yes, it is REQUIRED to book a project with Mia Harden Creative. Professional shots add uniqueness to your branding all while allowing your client or customer to develop a sense of trustworthyness in your business.

What file formats will I receive?

Upon completion, clients are provided the PNG, JPEG, EPS, AND PDF files of their logo.

I love your work! How do I get started?

View the Price Guide – once you've done that, submit an inquiry by completing the contact form. Next, set up your consultation call. During the call we will discuss your brand needs, how to move forward, the process, and more. Once we get started, you'll be sent a contract that requires a signature & date.

How is the process?

STEP 01. – INQUIRE: You send an inquiry. STEP 02. – LETS TALK: Book your call 15 min consultation call. You breifly tell me about your business + branding goals. STEP 03. – SECURE: You secure your spot by signing the contract & paying your first deposit, which is 50% of your projects total. This deposit is non-refundable. Also, during this step: You are waiting for your start date but in the mean time you will be completing your brand forms/homework (these forms tell me the specifics in order to design for you), gathering photos, wording for your website, etc. These things will be shared on your client portal. STEP 04. – DESIGN: This is the part where you sit back and let me work my design magic. During this step, I will take all of what you submitted on those forms and create! STEP 05. – REVIEW: You will look at your new design & give feedback. From here, we will move forward with wrapping up or revise. STEP 06. – LAUNCH IT: We're finished! You approve of your designs & you love them. Time to show the world what we've been working on together!

Communication during my project?

Mainly through Asana, which you will be taught how to naviagte. However, we can communicate through email and text. If a phone call is needed, just shoot an email.

What if, in the future, I want to polish up my site?

No worries! Clients are walked through how to naviagate their site. However, if you feel it is too complex for you to update alone, we do offer price quotes based around the work we've already done for you. If your website was completed by someone else, unfortunately, we do charge the base price for web design. We do not polish anyone else's work, only our own.

How many revisions will I receive?

All clients are given 2 revisions for brand identity. Client receives 1 revisions total for web design. After the advertised number of revisions, client is charged at an hourly rate of $250.

What are print ready files?

We offer print ready collateral, this means – we design, you print. However, we can offer printing for you through our print vendor. Print ready files come ready with the required bleed room for industrial printers.

I don't want to go through with my project anymore, what's next?

Deposits are non-refundable + non-transferable at any point during the process. Client has the right to suspend services at anytime they'd like, however the deposit fee and any cost assosciated with the project is non-refundable.

What if I need something that isn't on your price list?

Do you offer retainer services?

Yes we do! – What is a retainer? A retainer gives clients the opportunity to book us months ahead through contracts. Why book a retainer? • Are you a business that requires a lot of graphics monthly but can never find a designer on your schedule? This is for you. • You can plan your project deadlines monthly with a peace of mind. Your graphics will be a guaranteed amount of prioritized work each month. • By booking a retainer, you are given a discount compared to normal fees. The more hours of service you book, the larger the discount. • Easier payments – You pay a set amount each month for your services. • Less paperwork – You don't have to sign new contracts.

How long does it take? What is your turn around time?

Typically, our turnaround time for digital designs are between 12-21 business days. Web design can take up to 5-8 weeks for completion due to the complexity of the design and task. Branding packages can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks. Please always take into consideration that communcation plays a major role in turn around times.

Do I own my logo? How does this work?

YES! You definitely own your logo, 100%.. however, as the designer – I am the owner of the artwork. The client understands that they are not the artist or designer of the original artwork. Client understands they are allowed to use the artwork for their business purposes (apparel, printed items, etc). As the client, you can copyright or trademark your business name – but not the artwork being that I am not the original artist of the works.
